Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative

If you have already seen and purchased our latest Ever After kit, we thank you so much! 25% of the proceeds from this beautiful collection will be going to y2y this weekend only.
Officially formed in 1993, Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative (y2y) is a non-profit, joint Canada-U.S. organization that connects as well as protects habitats from Yellowstone to Yukon. Today, the region spans over five states (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming), two Canadian provinces (British Columbia and Alberta) and two Canadian territories (Yukon and Northwest Territories). Through this effort, a great many people and nature in the areas continually thrive. Among just a few are threatened grizzly bears, wolves, wolverines, lynx and native fish populations. Currently, they are the only organization working to secure the long-term ecological health of this region. Working with more than 300 partners - scientists, other conservation groups, landowners, small businesses, government agencies and First Nations and Native American communities - progress is being made. Y2Y promises to ensure their efforts are steady and therefore become continentally significant. Today, this eco-loving organization is recognized as one of the planet’s leading mountain conservation initiatives.
Why do we love them? The dedication the people have in this organization is enormous; their mission for connecting and not separating with nature, living with nature, is something we love; their collaborative effort in honest partnerships, and connections, to make progress consistent is only admirable; the appeal to helping the needs of people and where native wildlife can thrive is incredible.
