Miss EM'S Tips & Advice: Applying Your Loose Foundation Powder

Miss EM'S Tips & Advice: Applying Your Loose Foundation Powder
Are you new to EM or mineral makeup in general? Unsure where to begin? Foundation application, basics 101. Applying mineral makeup is way easier than you may suspect. I’m going to equip you with simple, but effective steps to begin or improve your everyday, simple makeup routine! I recommend using the Ultimate Buffing Brush, Artisan Kabuki Brush, or my favorite, the Ultimate Flat Top Brush. These are three must-have brushes when using mineral makeup. With the base of your brush, tap the jar of your foundation-of-choice into its lid and whirl the bristles of your brush into the minerals. Starting at the hairline, sweep the brush across your face in circular motions. Blend, blend, blend! Once you’ve applied your base foundation, decide whether you’d like another round. What’s great about mineral makeup is that you can build coverage, without making your skin look or feel cakey. If needed, conceal any redness or acne scars - for this I recommend our loose powder Mineral Concealers. Loose Powder Makeup Brighten Jojoba Color Corrector has a soft pink tint, and light-diffusing minerals that work to camouflage dark under-eye circles. This powder is creamy and buildable so that you can use only as much as you truly need. Another ideal choice is our loose mineral powder Mint Jojoba Color Corrector. Makeup artists love Mint, here’s why: It’s a hint of pale green neutralizes ruddiness, blemishes, broken capillaries, and color imperfections. It’s high-tech mineral pigment creation will amaze you. Our best selling loose powder mineral makeup concealer is: Multi-Tasking Mineral Concealer which is amazingly versatile, it works for complexions from fair to light, covering blemishes and under-eye circles, and also can be used to highlight your best features. Next, set your skin with a Finishing Powder. I love using the Blender Face Brush for this as it gives a light dusting on the skin. Voila! Xo, Miss EM
