Who are you?! What do you do?
I’m Sophie! I'm a food blogger and health enthusiast from the Cotswolds. I also recently qualified as a nutritionist & diet coach (AfN) which I’m super excited about! I am very passionate about living a healthy, plant-based & cruelty free lifestyle and try to share this with my followers through my blog and social media accounts! Currently I am working as a digital media executive for an awesome vegan company!
Why do you think it’s so important to live in the now, and to not wait passively?
Life is so precious! It can pass us by so quickly which is why we must make everyday count. If you wait for your life to start - you will be waiting forever. Be PROACTIVE and take charge of what you want in life!
What are the steps you take to create a new healthy habit?
You just need to get started. I feel like a lot of us give ourselves excuses as to why we aren’t doing things we should be. The best way to get into a new healthy habit is by starting right now. If you make mistakes thats ok, its a learning curve. Humans are creatures of habit, when you practise or repeat a habit every single day, it will become autonomous.
Laziest thing about you?
If I am being totally honest… getting out of bed in the morning! I know, I know what you’re thinking! It’s just that my bed is super warm, cozy and comforting - why would I not want to lie there for just a few more minutes….
When did love strike with you for how you are living your life now?
About 4 years ago now, I came across a video about this girl who was living a raw vegan lifestyle. At the time I thought this was totally crazy! I come from a background where meat was always the main constituent of my meals. But It really fascinated me… so being the inquisitive person I am, I wanted to find out more. I watched loads of youtube videos about veganism and why people were doing it, I read books and articles and studies. The more I read, the more I realised how being healthy not only impacts on your physical health but also your mental health. And thats where my journey into holistic living began and how I’ve ended up here today!

Do you have a life motto or quote that you find yourself constantly referencing?
Yes! There is a story behind this actually… I was going to Italy for a couple of months to go traveling alone and it happened to also be the first time I flew on a plane by myself, so I was super nervous! When we were getting ready to land, I was watching the end of this film and the main character said ‘Everything great in life starts out a little scary’. Suddenly all of my nerves washed away and I felt a great relief. I will never forget that moment.
If you could choose...a single food item that brings out your energy?
Bananas! There's nothing quite like a banana when you’re feeling a little low - it’s the perfect carb.
What are a few attributes you believe a powerful woman to possess?
Having confidence and self belief that you can do what you want in life is key to becoming a successful woman in my opinion. You can do anything if you believe it, no matter your gender.
How do you actively make your passion in life a living reality, everyday?
You have to be committed! If you have a passion you want to pursue, you need to devote time to actually making it a reality. I work full time but I make sure I am doing everything I can when I am at home to pursue my passions in life. If you don’t spend the time and effort pursuing your passions, you cant expect any change to come! Just go for it!
