Hey gal! Give us a little intro about you.

My name is Nazy Farnoosh and I was born and raised in Los Angeles! I started blogging in 2014 and have truly loved building my blog throughout these years.

Skincare is HUGE for you. When did this obsession start?

My love for skincare stems from my mother being an esthetician! She always spoke about skincare, the rights and wrongs, the importance of clean products, and maintenance for your skin to keep your skin glowing as we age.She's definitely the person who sparked this passion and it's something that we can still both bond on to this day! We're always finding new ways to moisturize, grow hair faster and healthier, and love bouncing ideas off of each other.

How do you practice self care with such a fast-paced lifestyle?

It's super important for me to keep my skin balanced and healthy even though on constantly on the go! That can be me using my eye masks in the car when I'm driving around doing my errands, not wearing makeup on the days I'm not shooting, and ALWAYS wearing SPF to keep my skin protected from the sun. Now that I spend most of my time outside scouting and shooting at locations rather than being in an office, my need for SPF and protection from the sun is a bigger priority than before. If I ever feel like I need a break and I just need a day to myself, I make sure to give myself that I’m not super stressed myself out because if you don’t let your body rest your body will force you to rest.

How would you describe your personal style?

I’d like to say that my style is always changing but right now I find it on the edge of being chic and edgy. I love to always add a denim piece into my luxe or a pair of fun boots, statement boots, and layer my jewelry with dainty necklaces statement earrings and stacked rings. My most important thing is making sure that what I’m wearing is me and it’s comfortable. I’m definitely a black purse girl, I feel like I have like six different black purses and I never get sick of them.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice that I’ve ever received is that life is short and if you’re not doing what we love being surrounded by people that we love then we’re not doing it right. We’re not being honest with ourselves and this life or fly by quicker than will ever notice and it’s way more worth living true to yourself and being honest with who you are and how you wanna live your life and spending it with those you want to be surrounded by and doing what you want to be doing than ever trying to live a life pleasing others. The best advice that I’ve ever received is that life is short and if we’re not doing what we love being surrounded by people that we love then we’re not doing it right. We all go through bumpy periods of time. How have you remained confident in yourself & your craft, despite obstacles?

There’s definitely moments where I feel insecure, questioning my purpose, and struggling with difficulties. But I always try to find a silver lining, that little happy moment or memory that will continue to motivate me to do exactly what I want to be doing. Sometimes when I’m having a tough time, I get DM’s from a few of my followers, whether it’s just one person or a few of them, and I always use them as a gentle reminder that I’m doing this for them. Even if I’m only meeting one person I’m going to do my very best to motivate inspire and help that person as much as I can. I work in an industry where it’s super congested, so much competition, and new talent always popping in, but as long as I stay true to who I am and what I believe in and what I want to share, there will always be room for me and my purpose in it. It’s definitely hard not to compare yourself, but I always try and remind myself that we’re all meant to be different, if we were all living the same lives living the same experiences and were identical to each other, there would be no difference or inspiration from al It’s definitely hard not to compare yourself but I always try and remind myself that we’re all meant to be different, if we were all living the same lives living the same experiences and we’re identical to each other, this would be a utopia. I try my best to focus on what makes me different and share that with my audience and hopefully reach whoever I can that struggling with the difference as well.
