When did you both first cross paths?!

We actually met the old fashioned way, at a mutual friend's birthday party back in 2010. Bret had had a few too many to drink so skipped the awkward introductory step and from this night on we were inseparable.

How do you work collectively on the content you create?

We don't! Kidding, we work pretty well together but creating content can get pretty stressful at times and it's hard not to vent your frustration at one another. But whenever this happens one of us will always take it on the chin and make the other laugh about something silly! Bret does all our editing and is best with a camera, whilst Evey prepares our captions and is better on that front.

What is your "mission" with your major platform?

Our mission when we set out was to travel and experience life without being tied down too much. However we had been doing just that for quite a while before Covid-19 came around, and since then we've been rethinking our approach. Bret has started a Personal Finance youtube channel (Bret Clay) and we plan to apply more travel money advice/tips into our instagram too. We want to teach people how to be financially independent and show what life can be like if you're committed to working hard.

Specific countries with cultures that stood out to you?

Our favourite country is the Philippines, hands down. We've been to some pretty awesome bucket list places like the Maldives and Mauritius, but for us, the Philippines was the best. It's laid back island vibes were serious life goals! We'd go back in a heartbeat!

We've all experienced being "stuck" together during quarantine, how do you two keep days fun and exciting (and avoid getting on eachothers nerves!)?

Well, we've actually been working on different things since the lockdown. Bret's committed to Youtube and I'm working on our Blog. So we try to let each other work on their own thing during the day and are super happy to be able to spend the rest of the time together. We watch a lot of movies!!

Have you had to make any compromises lately, due to our new reality? How do you remain positive?

Not really, nothing compared to the sacrifices that so many others are having to make. We're lucky that we've built ourselves an online platform which we're fully invested in, so downtime like this just means that we get more of the hard graft done. A lot of the behind the scenes that no one ever really talks about!

What positive changes have you seen since the dawn of this crisis affecting everyone in the world?

We think people are starting to realise the benefits of working online and starting side hustles, which we think is a great thing! More and more people are signing up to Fiverr etc and starting to make positive changes to their lives. Also the fish swimming in the Venice canals might just be the best thing!

And lastly, what words of advice or affirmations would you give a couple in the process of finding their peace and gathering the courage to pursue their own dreams during this time?

Everything is scary until you do it, then it's normal! We're a generation that's going to live longer and healthier than ever before, and we're all so young. Don't feel like you need to have it all figured out yet, instead take some risks and you will be so happy you did!
