How To Choose Your Mineral Base Shade?

How do I choose the right shade of base for my face? What mineral foundation color will match me best? These are questions we’ve all asked ourselves at some point. Searching for the right shade shouldn’t be a daunting task. Truth is, it’s quite simple, and we are here to help break it down for you!
*A recent study shows that 97% of the population has a warm undertone to their skin. As only 3% of the population claimed having a cool undertone*
Here is a little more information on getting to know your undertones, as well as some handpicked base colors to go with each skin tone.

1. KNOW YOUR SKIN TYPE!
Recognizing your skin type is a MUST when choosing the proper foundation shade. Knowing which skin type category you fall into will help you narrow down which class of foundation color(s) you should choose. (Your skin will love you for this, I promise!)NORMAL

Choosing between our 3 beautiful bases should be quite simple now that you know a little more about your skin. All bases are formulated with high performance ingredients to help make your complexion flawless!2. KNOW YOUR UNDERTONES
COOL
Pink or reddish complexions. Skin typically burns easily. When looking at your hand or arm, veins appear blue. Silver jewelry complements this skin tone best.NEUTRAL
Beige with a bit of yellow or pink complexions. Skin tans gradually. When looking at your hand or arm, veins tend to have a greenish tint to them. Both silver and gold complement this skin tone.WARM
Yellow or peachy complexions. Skin tans easily and does not usually burn. When looking at your hand or arm, veins may have a slight greenish tint to them. Gold jewelry complements this skin tone best.
3. DON’T FAKE IT
When choosing your foundation, you never want to change the color of your face. You, my friend, are wonderfully made - skin tone and all! When looking at a spectrum of beautiful colors (which can get overwhelming), always choose a color or colors that are visibly closest to the natural tone of your skin. After all, who wouldn’t want to look effortlessly beautiful?!4. APPLICATION IS KEY
One of the BIGGEST mistakes that we beauties make while on the hunt for our perfect match…. Applying foundation shades on our cheeks or hands - this is a major NO NO! Your neck is the best area to test your potentials, because it is the area of the skin that is least exposed to the sun. Therefore, it is the closest match to your natural skin tone.
